When life gives you lemons...

You make lemonade! At least that is what we did today. Today we held our very first Alex's lemonade stand foundation event.

We first heard about Alex's lemonade stand when we moved to San Francisco for Bastian's bone marrow transplants. They sent us a package. It had a planner so that we could keep track of Bastian's appts.

A few weeks after Bastian was diagnosed, a mom where we had lived on base messaged me. She had told me that her daughter was just diagnosed with Brain cancer. We got to meet today, and run our little lemonade stand together.

I could not have done this without the help of some wonderful people. It was our first event and we raised $100. We are hoping we can do more event in the future.
